Twenty years of grinding a play, the former president of Henan Henan Theatre, the lead actor Li Shujian led the crew to climb all the way, all the way hard, but also all the way harvest, almost all the awards in the opera circle: Chinese culture and art government award "Wenhua Award", the Central Propaganda Department "five projects" award, elected the national stage art fine project "fine repertoire"; After being put on the screen, it won the 13th China Film Huabian Award and the 15th Los Angeles International Family Film Festival "Best Foreign Language Opera Film Award", which is the first Chinese opera film to win an international award in China.

The Second Troupe of Henan Henan Theatre performed the play for more than 2,000 times, and nearly 20 kinds of dramas competed to transplant Cheng Ying to Save the Orphan, with a total of more than 20,000 performances. The cast of "Cheng Ying Saving the Orphans" has also visited more than 20 countries and regions such as the United States, France, Italy, Thailand, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, becoming a business card of cultural diplomacy.

"Cheng Ying saves the orphan" is a traditional story. From the earliest records in the Records of the Grand Historian, to the Yuan drama Orphan of Zhao, to the Chinese Orphan adapted by Voltaire, the story of "Orphan of Zhao" is widely known and has been adapted and interpreted by various literary and artistic forms.
